The Saifee Burhani School of Nursing (SBSON) is recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council and affiliated with the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) since 2017.
The vision of the SBSON is to become a center of excellence in nursing education, practice and research, and to prepare nursing professionals to shape a dynamic healthcare environment for serving a diverse community.
Aligning with its mission, the SBSON offers the following 02 undergrad nursing programs:
- Four-years of Bachelors of Science in Nursing Program
- Two-years of Post RN Bachelors of Science in Nursing Program
The facilities at the school includes classrooms, auditorium, library, computer lab, skills lab, science lab, students lounge, and tuck-shop. The Saifee Burhani hospital and a variety of other clinical areas in the city are used for giving hands-on learning to the students, under the supervision of qualified and dedicated faculty members.
Students actively participate in theory classes, practicum, curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. Professionalism, punctuality, regularity, honesty, integrity, competence, and respect, are the core values of the college and expected from everyone.
