Bachelor of Science in Nursing
04 Year Degree Program
This is a 4 years degree program, leading to practice as a Registered Nurse. The degree program fosters integrated nursing knowledge, skills, and professional attitude. Upon completion of this program, the graduate is prepared to be a safe clinical nurse, who will be able to provide comprehensive care at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels within hospitals and community settings.
Moreover, the BSN students will be registered with Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council after completing one year internship as per given PNC internship policy.
Eligibility Criteria:

- He/She Completed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent in the Science group with Biology, Chemistry & Physics as compulsory subjects.
- He/She Completed the High Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) in the Pre-Medical group with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Age should be between 14 to 35 years (on the closing date of Admission)
- Gender: Both
Admission Process:
- The National Testing Service (NTS) will conduct an admission test.
- The test will be comprised of 100 MCQs and will cover the following subjects:
- English (25%)
- Biology (25%)
- Physics (25%)
- Chemistry (25%)
- Interview:Â

- On passing the admission test, applicants will be interviewed by a panel of faculty members to assess their suitability to complete the concerned course and pursue a career in nursing services

- Medical Fitness:

- Once the admission test and interview are cleared, the applicant will go through a medical fitness test during orientation. Applicant needs to be medically fit to secure admission.

02 Year Degree Program
This is a 2 years degree program, leading to practice as a Registered Nurse. The degree program fosters integrated nursing knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes. Upon completion of this program, the graduate is prepared to be a safe clinical nurse, who will be able to provide comprehensive care at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels within hospitals and community settings.
Moreover, the Post RN students will be registered with Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council after completing one year internship as per given PNC internship policy.

- Matric with Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics as compulsory subjects) OR Matric Arts per HEC Notification No.8 (61)/A&A/2018/HEC/5998 dt.06.01.2018.
- 03-Year Diploma in General Nursing
- 01-Year Diploma in Midwifery (any post-basic specialty for males in lieu of midwifery)

- Domicile (only Sindh Province), concerned district will be given priority

- For admission in ICU technician program, candidates must have done one year Certified Anesthesia technician Course
